Business consulting that fixes the problem, not the symptom

We sit with owners of £500k–£15m businesses across Wales and the wider UK. Together we find the three or four changes that actually shift your margin, your team and your sanity. No 80-page decks. No jargon.

Four steps, no filler

Most engagements wrap inside eight weeks. Here is what those weeks look like.

01

Diagnostic call

A 30-minute video call where we ask about revenue, costs, team structure and the one thing keeping you up at night. Free, no obligation.

02

Data deep-dive

We review your P&L, cash-flow forecast and org chart. Within five working days you receive a written brief listing every lever we can pull and the likely impact of each.

03

Implementation sprints

Two-week sprints, each targeting one lever. We work alongside your team rather than handing over a report and walking away. Changes happen in real time.

04

Measure and adjust

At the end of each sprint we compare actual numbers to forecast. If something missed the mark we adjust the next sprint. You keep a live dashboard after we leave.

What we do for you

Cash-flow repair

Late invoices, lumpy revenue, supplier terms that squeeze you dry. We rebuild your cash cycle so you can predict your bank balance 90 days out, not 9.

Team restructuring

Flat structures that worked at five employees break at twenty. We map roles, remove duplication and design reporting lines that let you stop being the bottleneck.

Revenue growth planning

We identify which products, channels or customer segments carry the highest margin, then build a 12-month plan to double down on them. No guesswork, just your own data.

Operational efficiency

From procurement to delivery, we time every step and cut the ones that add cost without adding value. One manufacturing client shaved 14 days off their order-to-ship cycle in a single sprint.

Funding readiness

If you need a bank loan, grant or equity raise, we prepare the financial model, pitch materials and due-diligence pack. Lenders see a business that has done its homework.

KPI dashboards

We set up live dashboards so you can track gross margin, customer acquisition cost and staff utilisation weekly. No more waiting for your accountant to tell you what happened last quarter.

Welsh town landscape where Venture Pro Consulting is based

Based in Wales, working across the UK

Venture Pro Consulting started in 2018 when our founder left a Big Four firm and moved back to Wales. The reason was simple: small and mid-sized businesses here deserve the same rigour that FTSE 250 companies get, without the six-figure invoices.

Our team of four consultants has backgrounds in manufacturing finance, SaaS operations, retail supply-chain management and HR restructuring. Between us we have advised businesses from £400k turnover to £18m.

We charge a fixed project fee agreed before work starts. No day rates, no scope creep surprises. If the engagement runs longer than planned because of something on our side, the extra time is on us.

Most of our clients are within a two-hour drive of our office in Mayert-on-Parisian-Ledner, though we regularly work remotely with businesses in the Midlands and South-West England.

Common questions

How much does an engagement cost?
A typical eight-week project for a business with £1m–£5m revenue sits between £4,500 and £9,000 plus VAT. We quote a fixed fee after the diagnostic call, and that number does not change unless you ask us to expand the scope.
Do you work with startups?
Occasionally. Our methods are built around businesses that already have revenue and customers. If you are pre-revenue we can do a one-off strategy session, but a full engagement usually makes more sense once you are past £300k annual turnover.
Will you replace our accountant or bookkeeper?
No. We work alongside your existing advisors. In fact, we often ask for a call with your accountant in the first week so we can get a clear picture faster. Think of us as the people who decide what to change; your accountant records the results.
What happens after the eight weeks?
You keep the dashboard, the process documentation and a 90-day action plan. Many clients manage fine from there. If you want ongoing support we offer a monthly retainer that includes two half-day sessions and unlimited email advice.
Can we meet in person?
Yes. We prefer at least the kick-off and final review to be face-to-face at your premises. Sprint check-ins are usually over video to save everyone time, but we are happy to be on-site more often if the project calls for it.
Is there a guarantee?
We guarantee the deliverables listed in the project brief. If we fail to deliver any of them you receive a pro-rata refund for the incomplete items. We cannot guarantee specific revenue outcomes because those depend on execution after we leave, but our track record speaks clearly enough.
